These are stills from a video made for the Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour‘ show.

These are UI designs that I made while at Jezam Interactive; where my focus was primarily geared towards applications for touch-screens of all sorts. The company specializes in developing applications for corporate presentations and digital way-finding solutions. Over the years, we’ve worked with a number of clients; most notably le Massif, Westin Hotels & Resorts, RW&Co, Crowne Plaza & Deloitte.

Please note that of these are prototypes that never made it into real-world situations.

This started as a personal video project but then I decided that they looked better as a series of images so I printed them out and exhibited them that way. I still might finish the video one day if I find a bit of free time and figure out a more interesting direction to take it in.

Life-sized typographical installation using thousands of pieces of paper folded and glued together to form the sentence that describes and illustrates the concept.

The topographic shape transitions from the still nature of paper to the mountaneous organic structure, while keeping its geometric character.

It was exhibited in the FOFA Gallery hallway-vitrine for the Concordia University Design Department End of Year exhibition, during the Montréal Design Portes Ouvertes 2010 and was published in Communication Arts Typography Annual 1 (Jan/Feb 2011), Type Player 2 by Sandu Publishing and IDN v18n3: the Glitch Issue.

N.B. None of the character illustrations are mine. Most of them probably belong to artists working at or are subcontracted by Capcom (the company that makes the Street Fighter series).

These are flyers that I made for the Montreal Branch of Ninja Tune and Counter Records while I was there. The first was to promote their set at the 2008 SXSW festival and the second was for their ‘Clockout’ nights.
